The Todd Gordon Quartet is a professional jazz quartet that plays all types of venues, events, and engagements. The quartet is composed of voice, piano, bass, and drums. The group’s repertoire includes a large number of jazz and popular standards, and the ensemble has the ability to play almost any style or type of music at an extremely high level. The Scott Gwinnel Jazz Orchestra is a 16-piece modern-jazz big band. The group was founded and is led by Scott Gwinnell, jazz pianist, composer, and arranger based out of Detroit. The Jazz Orchestra has been together for 7 years with, a 2 year hiatus, playing weekly at at four different clubs throughout its tenure. The group recently played to great acclaim at the Detroit International Jazz Festival, and have also played at the International Association of Jazz Educators Conference (IAJE) in Toronto, Canada, the Michigan Jazz Festival, the Ed Love show on WDET 101.9, Concert in the Village in Grosse Pointe, and Fendale Jazz Festival.
